2025 5th International Conference on Computational Modeling, Simulation and Data Analysis (CMSDA 2025) Successfully Concluded


The 5th International Conference on Computational Modeling, Simulation and Data Analysis (CMSDA 2025) was successfully held in Qingdao from December 12 to 14, 2025. The conference is organized by China University of Petroleum (East China), supported by Civil Aviation University of China, Shandong University, Zhengzhou University, Qingdao University, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Qingdao University of Science & Technology, University of Jinan, Yantai University, Henan University.

The conference brought together numerous academic elites and experts, facilitating exchanges through various formats such as keynote speeches, on-site and online oral presentations, and poster sessions. Awards were presented for Best Paper, Outstanding Oral Presentation, and Outstanding Poster. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on the latest trends, research outcomes, technological innovations, and application cases in the fields of computational modeling, simulation, and data analysis, creating a vibrant and enthusiastic academic atmosphere.

Opening Ceremony

Host: Prof. Jian Wang, China University of Petroleum (East China)


The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Wang Jian from China University of Petroleum (East China), who extended a warm welcome to the attending leaders, guests, and scholars. Professor Wang Yudou, Vice Dean of the College of Science at China University of Petroleum (East China), delivered the opening speech, marking the beginning of this academic gathering. He emphasized that the conference serves as an opportunity to further promote industry-academia collaboration and deepen university-enterprise partnerships, thereby advancing innovation and progress in computational modeling, simulation, and data analysis.

Professor Nikhil R. Pal from the Electronics and Communication Sciences Unit of the Indian Statistical Institute, IEEE Fellow, Fellow of the Indian National Science Academy, Indian Academy of Sciences, and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS);

Professor Hani Hagras from the University of Essex, UK, Fellow of IEEE, IET, HEA, AAIA, and AIIA;

Professor Peng Ren from China University of Petroleum (East China), specially appointed expert under the China Association for Science and Technology's Overseas Talent Program, and Young Taishan Scholar;

Professor DunweiGong, leading expert in Control Science and Engineering, Taishan Scholar Distinguished Expert, Dean of the School of Microelectronics, and IEEE Senior Member from Qingdao University of Science and Technology.

These experts shared cutting-edge research and innovative insights, offering profound inspiration and delivering a high-level, forward-looking, and richly informative academic feast.
